OSDBU Small Business Annual Conference (USAID)

(June, 2017, Washington DC) The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization OSDBU hosted its 10th Annual Small Business Conference in Washington, DC. The conference theme was “USAID Partnering with America’s Small Businesses” and STRAP was amongst the 350 selected small businesses to attend the event.

Highlights of the conference included learning about USAID, its Small Business Champions, winners from Overseas Missions and their innovative programs. Breakout sessions focused on procurement strategies to market to USAID, compliance information, subcontracting and current procurement methods. Agency senior officials spoke on the role of USAID. The Exhibit Hall had with representatives from the Agency’s Bureaus and Offices with Networking opportunities. Generous Lunch and tea were served combined with speeches from development sector professionals.
