Visit to Kenya with the World Bank Mission

(May 15, 2017, Washington DC) Mr. Hussain was on 15 days visit to Kenya (Nairobi) to join the World Bank team for the Joint Review and Implementation Support (JRIS) mission for the National Safety Net Program (NSNP) of Kenya. A fiduciary risk assessment of the program was conducted with an objective of development of an Action Plan to address the areas of improvements identified during the assessment. This mission is part of our the long-term engagement for providing technical assistance to the Government of Kenya for implementing NSNP. The World Bank has provided $150 million for the program.
