Private Sector Development Planning Meeting in DC

(March 29, 2016, Washington DC) Mr. Hussain attended the private sector development meeting held in the Society of International Development (SID) office in Washington DC. He stressed upon the need of forums like SID to bridge between the private sector and the development sector and channel the CSR and development funds available from the private sector within the United States and also all across the globe into developing countries where it is most needed. He also emphasized the need of using Social Safety Nets (cash Transfer) programs in various developing countries as a vehicle for investing these funds in the poorest of the poor communities. STRAP is already working with the private sector and high net worth individuals from California tech industry in mobilizing these funds and offered to share their experience with the participants.
